Shadows in the Night is the first part of the Night's Watch questseries. This quest is not an easy one as you will have to defeat an army of wights during the quest. Givers dialog will in most cases leave the NPC inoperable and make the quest impossible to finish without the use of console commands. A Mount and Blade: Warband.

Enabling Cheats


  • Go to DocumentsMount and Blade II BannerlordConfigs.
  • Open “engine_config.txt”.
  • Look for “cheat_mode = 0” and change the value to “1”.

Cheat List


  • CTRL+H - Completely heals you.
  • CTRL+SHIFT+H - Completely heals your horse.
  • CTRL+F3 - Damage yourself.
  • CTRL+ALT+F4 - Knock unconscious all enemy troops.
  • CTRL+SHIFT+F6 - Knocks out all of your troops.
  • CTRL+F6 - Knocks out one of your troops.
  • CTRL+F4 - Knocks unconcious an enemy after a number of presses.
  • CTRL+LEFT CLICK - On the World Map, teleports your party to where you click.

Money and Item Cheats


With cheats enabled, simply opening your inventory will display a list of every item in the game on the left side of the screen. Just click the arrow next to any item you want!

Use these controls to move your character and interact with the world, interface, or other characters.

  • : move forwards/backwards
  • : strafe left/right (steer left/right when mounted)
  • : talk to NPCs, interact with doors and objects
  • : jump
  • + : horse rears (stopping instantly)
  • : attack
  • : block, cancel attack
  • : cycle weapons
  • : cycle shields
  • : sheathe weapon
  • : leave location/retreat
  • : zoom/walk
  • : view outfit (hold and move )
  • : toggle first-/third-person view
  • : Kick (Warband only)
  • : toggle weapon mode (Warband only)

Party commands[edit]

Use these controls to determine what party member types hear you and what they do. These commands normally apply to your troops only; allied forces can only be controlled during sieges or if you are the marshal of that faction.

  • : toggle command interface (use with and/or the commands below to position your troops)
  • : order everyone
  • : order infantry
  • : order archers
  • : order cavalry
  • / : select additional groups (e.g. then /+ to command infantry and cavalry)
  • : invert selected troop types (e.g. if you are ordering cavalry, pushing this selects infantry and archers)
  • : hold position (where you are currently standing)
  • : follow player
  • : charge
  • : mount horses/dismount (toggle)
  • : hold fire/fire at will (toggle)
  • : advance ten paces
  • : fall back ten paces
  • : stand closer
  • : spread out
  • : use blunt weapons (toggle)
